Beginning in June, Coal Country Community Health Center will be holding preventive wellness exams and/or sports physical for children and adolescents needing sports physicals for the 2023-2023 school year. Extended hours are available! When calling your preferred clinic to schedule your youth wellness exam, please indicate if you want a sports physical only. Most insurances cover a wellness/preventive exam that includes a sports physical. If you want a sports physical only, the cost is $40 at the time of the visit.

When you think of clinics and the services they provide, images of furnaces and showers are unlikely to come to mind.

In observance of Memorial Day, all CCCHC locations will be closed on Monday, May 29th and resume regular business hours on Tuesday, May 30th.

All caregivers are invited to build a support system with people who understand. This caregiver support group, conducted by trained facilitators, is a safe place for those caring for individuals with any disease to: develop a support system, exchange practical information on caregiving challenges and possible solutions, talk through issues and ways of coping, share feelings, needs and concerns, and also learn about community resources. Coal Country Community Health Center will be holding preventative wellness exams for students in PreK-12th grade in May. A wellness exam may include a sports physical for the 2023-2024 school year if requested. The sports physical will be valid through the 2024 school year.
