CCCHC Behavioral Health providers Melissa Herman, Licensed Clinical Social Worker/Licensed Masters Addiction Counselor and Talitha Schnaidt, Licensed Profession Counselor are now certified to offer Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing Therapy (EMDR). EMDR therapy is an extensively researched, effective psychotherapy method proven to help people recover from trauma and other distressing life experiences, including PTSD, anxiety, depression, and panic disorders. CCCHC has teamed up with the UND Center for Rural Health, Custer Health, Hilltop Home of Comfort, Knife River Care Center and Sakakawea Medical Center to gather information about the communities we serve and learn more about how local services are used. The results of this survey will be used to develop a plan to improve and expand the care we provide.
