Join us on Wednesday, October 23^rd for the 3^rd Annual Women’s World of Wellness event where women can stop & shop while taking care of their wellness screenings! SMC Mammography Marathon is from 7 am‐7 pm; offering 3D Mammography, call 7017487278 to schedule. CCCHC will have providers available for physicals, screenings, immunizations and more! In addition, health education booths go from 1‐5 pm and local vendors/businesses will be set up from 3‐7 pm. for your shopping pleasure, no appointment needed to shop!

CCCHC Awarded Grant from the Offutt Family Foundation and R.D. Offutt Company

Coal Country Community Health Center was recently selected as a recipient of a special Community Builder grant from the Offutt Family Foundation and R.D. Offutt Company. The Community Builder program is a unique initiative designed to support charitable organizations and nonprofits that RDO team members are passionate about and serve the greater good in their communities. This year’s program focused on supporting youth mental health nonprofits.

Sports Physical Clinics Scheduled for 2021-2022 Student Athletes

Coal Country Community Health Center will be holding Sports Physical Clinics at all clinic locations in July. Athletes participating in any sport during the 2021-2022 school year are encouraged to schedule an appointment.

EMDR Therapy now offered at CCCHC

Behavioral health providers Melissa Herman, Licensed Clinical Social Worker/Licensed Masters Addiction Counselor and Talitha Schnaidt, Licensed Profession Counselor took part in an extensive training program through The Maiberger Institute based out of Boulder, Colorado. These providers are now certified to offer Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing Therapy (EMDR).
